Evidence dossier / EXP-001

Voyager 1
The record behind it.

The recorded run recovered the Voyager carrier. This is a positive control for this recording and configuration, not a general sensitivity guarantee.

What has actually been checked

Separate assessments keep missing evidence visible. No combined confidence percentage is assigned.

Source

Measured

Public telescope recording with a local-slice checksum.

Recovery

Recorded

Carrier measurement and plot preserved together.

Sensitivity

Limited

One positive control; general completeness is not measured.

External review

Not recorded

No independent acceptance or submission is claimed.

Source material

Radio-input hashes identify the local frequency slices described in the notes. They are not checksums of the complete remote archive files.

Original run notes

  • A turboSETI hit passed the predeclared Voyager frequency, drift, and SNR checks.
  • This is a known-transmitter positive control, not an unknown candidate.
  • turboSETI 2.3.2 raised its known NumPy-array formatting TypeError during final candidate-count logging after writing parseable .dat hit rows; those rows were retained and validated.
